South Asia is a rapidly growing market for textile digital printing. The domestic clothing in the region is primarily cotton, which increases the demand for direct-to-fabric printing equipment, but sublimation technology is also gaining market share, including through product exports.

According to incomplete statistics from TopPrint, Chinese printer manufacturer Honghua Digital (ATEXCO) sold approximately 40 digital printing machines at ITMA, with 75% of them going to digital textile market service providers in the fastest-growing South Asian markets. Honghua negotiated with many clients before the exhibition and then finalized deals in Milan, with many contracts signed directly at the exhibition. The company showcased the VEGA X1 Pro, Model H, and VEGA 9180DI printers at the event.



The VEGA X1 Pro printer was purchased at the exhibition by the Spanish company Argimode SA. Europe is a target market for Honghua, which already has a strong installation base in northern Italy and Turkey.

The VEGA X1 Pro features a direct-to-fabric digital printing solution with a width of 1.8 meters and 16 Kyocera print heads capable of printing in seven colors. Its advantage is its reliable performance on any textile, with a maximum speed of up to 320 square meters per hour, depending on the print design and factory conditions.



The ATEXCO model H is a 1.8-meter wide sublimation digital printer equipped with 16 kyocera print heads. The 4-color solution allows printing at a speed of 430 square meters per hour.

The VEGA 9180DI is another 1.8-meter wide digital printer that supports eight colors and is compatible with reactive, disperse, acid, and sublimation inks.
